What is MEAN?
The MEAN stack is a popular and commonly used software stack for building web applications. MEAN is an acronym that stands for the four key components of this stack: M - MongoDB. E - ExpressJS. A - Angular, N-Node-js.
MongoDB
A NoSQL database that is used for storing data in a flexible, JSON-like format. MongoDB is known for its scalability and ease of use, making it a good choice for web applications that require dynamic and rapidly changing data.
Express.js
A web application framework for Node.js that simplifies the process of building robust and efficient web applications. Express.js provides a set of features and tools for handling HTTP requests and routing, making it easier to create the backend of a web application.
Angular
A front-end JavaScript framework that is often used for building dynamic and interactive user interfaces. Angular allows developers to create single-page applications (SPAs) with a structured architecture and provides tools for data binding, dependency injection, and routing.
Node-js
Node.js is a JavaScript runtime that allows developers to run JavaScript on the server side. It is built on the V8 JavaScript engine and provides an event-driven, non-blocking I/O model, making it efficient for building scalable and real-time applications. Node.js is used as the server-side runtime in the MEAN stack.
